Taco Flats is a neighborhood bar on Burnet Road in Austin. The name pays homage to an old Austin dive that was known for cheap beer, great tacos, and legendary music in the '70s and '80s.

We wanted Taco Flats to feel comfortable and approachable while staying within their root system – let's call the concept Tex-Mex honky tonk. Wooden wall finishes (most of it from reclaimed barn siding), custom and vintage lighting,  taxidermy, and pecan bar stools give the bar an old-time feel. A simple and fun brand identity became a focal point on the windows to draw folks in from the street. And we added custom neon beer signs and serape wall stripes to punch up the interior.
